DPS Authorized Road Tests

Tests available at our Greenville, Richardson and Tyler locations

No additional fees for weekend testing.

DPS Submission Option:

• Texas.gov TxT account is required.
• We will submit your paperwork to the DPS for you.
• No need to schedule an appointment with the DPS.
• You will be able to download a temporary license from your TxT account
• Your new license will be mailed to you.

Testing Requirements:

Ages 16-17:

• A valid DE-964, PTDE-964 or DEE-964 showing you have completed a Driver Education Course and that indicates “Drivers license Only”
• A valid Texas Learner License (permit) with photo for a minimum of six months
• Must be accompanied by the parent or legal guardian that completed the parent driving hours with the student.
• A certificate from the DPS Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) video and receive a certificate dated within 90 days of the skills examination.

Ages 18-24:

• A valid DE-964 or ADE-1317 showing completion of a Driver Education Course
• A valid Texas Learner License (permit) with photo
• A certificate from the DPS Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) video dated within 90 days of the skills examination.

Ages 25 or older:

• A valid Texas Learners License (permit) with photo
• A certificate from the DPS Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) video dated within 90 days of the skills examination.
